What I am thinking about 🧠

I just got back from spending 10 days in Nicaragua with my brother from another mother.

It was an insanely amazing experience and I am bursting with gratitude, love, and a re-kindled excitement for life.

While on this trip, I did only 5 things:

Eat, surf, sleep, read, and harass the locals with my terrible Spanish.

There was something beautiful about having my communication capabilities reduced to that of a 3-year-old.

It turns out that pointing enthusiastically at something and saying, “muy bien!!”, is in fact, a reliable communication strategy.

You just have to smile big enough so that people start to assume there may be something “special” about you.

This trip was monumental for me because I decided to leave my laptop at home and do zero work for 10 days.
